This quarantine feels pretty much never-ending and it feels like I’m running out of things to do! I still have school work to do every day, but besides that I have a whole lot of ~nothing~ going on sinceI have no job. I am sure everyone is finding things to do, but maybe it’ll be helpful to let you know what I’ve been doing to give you a few ideas.
Okay… you may not want to hear this one if you are one of those people who refuses this, but Tik Tok has been taking up a pretty good chunk of my time everyday. My entire family watches it and we’ve even been posting on there sometimes. There are so many fun challenges and dances and honestly those short videos are somehow so entertaining and it’s hard to stop watching once i start. JUST DOWNLOAD IT. It’s so fun! Lol.

Something else that I have been doing is this random 30 day abs challenge I found on Pinterest. It is pretty easy so far, and it doesn’t take much time, but I feel a little better about myself everyday when i do that for five minutes instead of sitting in my bed all day with almost no movement.

There are so many streaming services with so many good shows and movies. I feel like there is always something for me to watch. If you’d like to know some of my favs, here you go:
Brooklyn 99 (Hulu)
How I Met Your Mother (Hulu)
New Girl (Netflix)
Jane The Virgin (Netflix)
Rick and Morty (Hulu)
The Good Place (I think its on Netflix and Hulu)
Scream Queens (Hulu)
That 70s Show (Netflix)
There are also some super short series’ like Love is Blind, The Circle, and Tiger King (all on Netflix) that are pretty much necessary to watch during this quarantine to help pass time. Also, anything on Disney+, I didn’t want to name anything from there because I want to watch it all, if it helps though I just finished watching Monsters Inc. and I’m currently watching Monsters University!
If you have a Nintendo Switch you ABSOLUTELY need Animal Crossing. I have no idea why I’m addicted to it, but I have definitely had a hard time putting it down the past few days. There’s always something going on in the game, and you get to create your own island, just get it and you’ll understand why I say that it is necessary.
There have been quite a few FaceTime and Zoom calls happening in my house, and it’s kind of fun hanging out with people but not having to go anywhere. There are a lot of online games to play with friends too like Cards Against Humanity so you can still do fun things together!
Something I’ve done a few times when I’ve gotten really bored is doing my makeup in ways that I normally wouldn’t. I am not someone who does their makeup to look like a mermaid or a fairy, but during this quarantine I am definitely trying new things and for sure keeping my mermaid makeup on all day long, just because I can. If I spend 2 hours blending my eyeshadow, I’m not taking it off until I can’t take it anymore.
This quarantine has been pretty hard for me and I feel like it’s been hard to just sit around and I’m starting to run out of shows to watch, but I hope this list helped even a little bit! If you have anything to help me out, please let me know. I’m losing my mind and it’s been too cold to go out for long walks around the neighborhood, so this is all I’ve got! Lol. Thanks for reading. 🙂
This sounds just like my family!
